RRF Boilerplate Description

The Retirement Research Foundation, based in Chicago, is devoted exclusively to improving the quality of life for our nation's older population.  Endowed in 1978 by the late John D. MacArthur, the Foundation is committed to improving conditions for those who are vulnerable due to frailty associated with advanced age, economic disadvantage, or disparity related to race and ethnicity.  From 1979 through 2009, RRF awarded more than 3,700 grants totaling nearly $200 million.
